We tried something new in Downtown Leesburg—and had such a great time that we're doing it again for the next two Saturdays to close out the summer.
Your date starts with a fun, beginner-friendly Dance King lesson designed to get you moving, laughing, and connecting. Then we'll head downtown together for food, drinks, live music and a chance to put what you just learned to use.
This isn't about perfect steps.
It's about stepping out of the routine, trying something new together, and making time for each other.
No dance experience needed. No partner dance experience expected.
Just show up, look up, and hold hands.

Loudoun Jazz Society Presents Swing Dance with Swing Shift
The Loudoun Jazz Society is co-hosting an amazing Swing Dance Event in Loudoun County!
Dance the night away to the sounds of a live big band at the new Dreamscapes Performing Arts Center. Both couples and singles are welcome. Not an expert dancer? Come for the beginner lesson from April at 6:30pm. Don't want to dance, but just want to enjoy the music? There will be chairs for listeners as well. Snacks and soft drinks will be available for sale. Experience this rare opportunity to hear and see big band jazz in an authentic setting.

This weekly dance features Ed Cottrell's DJ music mix suitable for a wide variety of dance styles including Waltz, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha-cha, Tango, East & West Coast Swing, Two-step, Nightclub, Hustle, and more!
7:00 - 8:00 PM West Coast Swing Lesson (intermediate/advanced) with April King
8:00 - 10:00 PM Dance (Variety: Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Country, Hustle, a bit of everything)
